Born on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Built around the way we live.
Calusa Provisions was born from a love of Old Florida—not just its flavors, but the lifestyle that surrounds them.
It’s early mornings running across quiet water before the sun comes up. Casting a line along a mangrove shoreline. Hunting backcountry and marsh. Cleaning the day’s catch at the dock. Smoke rolling from a grill while family and friends gather around. It’s knowing that some of the best meals don’t begin in a grocery store—they begin on the water, in the woods, or with something cooked slowly over a fire.
Florida is a place unlike anywhere else.
Mangrove forests meet the Gulf. Pine flatwoods give way to marshes and backwaters. Tarpon, snook, redfish, grouper and snapper share our waters. Deer, turkey and other wild game inhabit the interior. Citrus groves, tropical heat, salt air and afternoon storms have shaped generations of people who learned to live with the land and water rather than apart from it.
Calusa Provisions is our way of celebrating that Florida.
We believe enjoying these places also means appreciating and protecting them. The mangroves, estuaries, fisheries, wetlands and wild lands that make Florida special aren't just scenery. They're part of our heritage—and part of what makes this way of life possible.
That connection inspires what we make.
Our seasonings are developed for the food Floridians have always gathered around: fresh fish coming off the boat, shrimp on the grill, chicken over an open flame, wild game from the field, pork in the smoker, and steaks shared around a backyard fire.
We started with five blends, each with its own place in that world:
Sea Crust — our everyday salt, pepper & roasted garlic blend
Mangrove Black — bold, savory seasoning built for beef & brisket
Gulf Coast Sweet Heat — sweet, savory flavor with a warm finish
Citrus Tide — bright coastal citrus for seafood & chicken
Marshfire — savory spice made for poultry, wild game & live fire
But Calusa Provisions was never meant to be only a seasoning company.
It's about boats and backwaters. Hunting camps and fish camps. Mangrove islands and Gulf sunsets. Cast nets, coolers, campfires and backyard grills. Knowing where your food came from and taking the time to cook it right.
It's about preserving a little of the Florida that existed before high-rises and highways—the Florida that can still be found down an unpaved road, along an empty shoreline, deep in the mangroves, or around a fire with people you care about.
That's the Florida behind Calusa Provisions.
Old Florida Flavor.
More than a seasoning. A way of life.
